The EDUCase project at the University of the Arts Helsinki
During the projects, stakeholders from Finland, Tanzania, and Mozambique will exchange ideas and practices to collectively develop new knowledge and create new artistic work through community engagement, intercultural dialogue, and collaboration.
Furthermore, the project team in Finland will engage with the local African community in Finland and contribute to the professional development of African artists. The University of Helsinki will also develop a new UniArts Helsinki course focused on interdisciplinary African perspectives on art, led by local African artists in Finland.
The collaborative projects are expected to contribute to mutual learning with partner country stakeholders and generate expertise that is conducive to long-term academic activities.
