The member HEIs mapped their focus areas and primary partner countries in African and Asian regions and discussed on potential ways how EDUCase network could support their activities and joint initiatives. As a result, three key issues where highlighted as a base for further collaboration: 1) developing joint courses, 2) supporting teachers’ pedagogical competencies and 3) connecting potential partners. In the keynote speech, professor Saija Hollmén from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture gave a viewpoint to equal intercultural collaboration and culturally sensitive educational practices.
